ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Located in a mining town in Regional Queensland, you will be responsible for the population in town and the workers on a mine site. In addition to an outstanding remuneration package which includes bonuses, you will be provided with Doctors accommodation.

Hours will be Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm with a one-hour lunch break. Although you will not be required to be on call, if there is an extreme emergency, it would be encouraged you attend (if practicable). There is an after-hours call out fee of which you will receive 90%.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Minimum General AHPRA registration
• Australian Clinical experience
• Must be proven as a highly competent GP
• Willingness to become part of a mining community
• Being in a remote location, you will need to be self-reliant, have excellent clinical skills and be adept at dealing with emergencies – both General in nature and mine site related
• Collaborative approach when working with staff, patients and the community
