• Fly In Fly Out (FIFO) Registered Nurse for Mining town in Regional Queensland
• One week on, One week off
• EXCELLENT remuneration – up to $120k per annum!!

Fly In, Fly Out Registered Nurse. Roster is one week on, one week off. You will be provided with flights, transport, meals and accommodation.

The working hours are 8.00am-8.00pm and on call outside of the stated work hours, on a 7/7 back to back roster. Remuneration is outstanding!

Job Requirements:

• Coordination of non-work related injuries fitness for work assessment process
• Drug and Alcohol screening
• Hydration Monitoring (Heat Stress)
• Audiometric assessments
• Provide initial medical assessment of ill or injured workers, provision of first aid and/or initial medical treatment.
• Support site Emergency Response Team members in the event of an emergency
• Recording and reporting injury statistics
• Facilitate Health and wellbeing programs including toolbox talks and presentations
• Promote and support fitness for work requirements.
• Help Support Nominated Medical Advisors (NMA) Clinic Schedule preparation
• Provision of site security patrols, Building checks.
• Site access control
• Regular audits and management of onsite First Aid Kits and First Aid Room inventory and Medical Equipment

You must have:

• Strong experience as an RN (Current AHPRA registration)
• Immunisation Certificate
• Valid driver’s licence
• Current First Aid Certificate
• A demonstrated strong Health and Safety ethic
• Ability to work autonomously
• Intermediate level computer and database management skills
• Reliable self-starter who leads by example
• Strong team player with good relationship building skills
• Punctual and reliable

Highly desirable:

• Previous experience working in a mining town would be advantageous
• Return to Work Coordinator Certificate (QLD)
• Solid understanding of injury classifications (LTI, MTI, RWC)
• Triage management experience
• Emergency Department experience or remote experience
• Current Advanced Life Support Certificate
• Drug and Alcohol Testing Certificate
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11 Safety Certificate
• Cert IV in Workplace Training
