About the Practice

The Kon-Tiki Medical Centre is a dynamic, new and growing practice. It is a Doctor owned practice and is ultra-modern, equipped with the latest equipment and IT services. The Centre uses Medical Director and has an Acute treatment room, Medical Emergency attendance facility and state-of-the-art Fracture Clinic. It also has on-site pathology, imaging and pharmacy.

The Centre is located in a thriving and accessible business and health precinct. It is right next door to the new Maroochydore City Centre, across the road from the Sunshine Plaza and smack bang in the middle of one of Australia’s fastest growing regions, which also boasts one of Australias’s best Coastal lifestyles.

About the Position

The purpose of this role is to help coordinate the daily running of the practice, assist the doctors, nurses and specialists and be the all-important face of the practice making patients feel welcome, comfortable and cared for.

Skills and experience required:

• General Practice Experience 
• Medical software experience (Medical Director)
• Resume demonstrating stable work history including General Practice experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Contribute to team requirements
• Must be able to multi-skill
• Knowledge of RACGP accreditation (advantageous)
• CPR certification 
• Ability to comfort patients and anticipate their anxieties and questions
• Must be friendly and want to work in a team environment
• Proactive and “can do” attitude
• Experience in recalls, reminders and health assessment bookings
• Practice coordination experience i.e. foreseeing problems with the daily operations of the practice i.e. managing doctors’ appointments
