This role reports into the Health and Medical Manager (based in Brisbane) and manages the day to day operations for their WA based clients. The role will require travel to cover emergency shift relieve both onshore and offshore. 

They are seeking goal orientated person with a strong work ethic who has the skills and experience to work autonomously in a challenging environment.

You must have:

• Registered Nurse (RN) – Bachelor of Nursing
• Current AHPRA registration
• Diploma or Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Safety (or working towards)
• Current qualification in Immediate Life Support recognized by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ALS or ACLS)
• TBOSIET – Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training incorporating Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)
• Advanced Trauma qualifications

It is also desirable you have:

• Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)

The successful applicants will also:

• Have at least 5 years combined experience in emergency medicine, primary care and remote area medicine
• Have intermediate level computer and database management skills
• Be a reliable self-starter who demonstrates initiative
• Be a strong team player with good relationship building skills
• Be adaptable to a dynamic working environment
• Work to a plan and deliver in a timely manner
• Understand offshore environmental hazards
